Diamond Animal Hospital and Emergency Services was established in 1996. We are an emergency AND a full-service hospital. This means that our clients can come in any time of day or night for all services ranging from the routine (such as checking itchy ears or vaccinations) to life-saving emergencies.
We believe our furry friends enrich our lives with joy and companionship. The majority of our patients are dogs and cats, but we frequently care for ferrets, rabbits, and "pocket pets" (small rodents such as mice, gerbils, and guinea pigs) as well.
How to Find Us:
We are at 2545 E Tudor Rd, on the North side of the street near the Tudor/Lake Otis intersection.
Please note: due to the median on Tudor Road, our facility is only accessible from the westbound lane.

Emergencies:
We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We always have doctors and trained technicians on staff here at the hospital.
Appointments:
Appointments for preventive health care or for sick pets are scheduled from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday. To schedule an appointment please call 907-562-8384.
Walk-ins:
Weekends are strictly Walk-ins. During the week walk-ins are always accepted but are cautioned that their wait will depend on available space in the appointment schedule, number of doctors on duty, and the status of any emergency cases in the hospital. Walk-in appointments are generally asked to wait until after 2pm. Please feel free to call ahead to see how busy we are.
Surgery:
We schedule all routine surgeries on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Surgery and dentistry patients should arrive before 8:00 am. Procedures are usually completed by mid-afternoon. Most patients are ready to go home by late afternoon or early evening of the same day. When you pick up your pet, you will be given complete care instructions and any medicine that will be required.
Referrals:
We welcome referrals. There is no greater compliment to us than being recommended to your family, friends, and co-workers.
Payment:
The doctors and staff members of Diamond Animal Hospital and Emergency Services understand that you want to do what is in the best interest of your pet. Sometimes the costs associated with these decisions can be difficult to understand. That is why we work to provide you with several options that will benefit your pet, allow for optimum quality of life, and enable you to feel comfortable with your choice.
Health Care Estimates are provided before all major procedures and emergency services. These are developed by your pet's doctor and include an approximate range of charges that may be incurred for services and procedures while your pet is hospitalized. A DAH staff member will relay additional charges that may cause your bill to exceed the highest end of this plan to you. We require that half of the high end of the Health Care Estimate be given as a deposit for all major procedures with the balance due at the time of pick-up.

- All Major Credit Cards -Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover
- Care Credit - A convenient 0% interest-financing plan that allows qualified applicants to divide payments over 3 or 6 months. Please ask us how to apply. Or go to www.carecredit.com, and apply from the comfort of your home.
- Pet Insurance - While this still requires that you pay your medical bill directly to DAH, we are happy to help you with any of the necessary paperwork that will streamline the reimbursement process from your insurance provider.
